Audemars Piguet Price Increase Due 1st January

Today has seen the announcement from Audemars Piguet that there will be a price increase in effect very soon. The New Year will see in many new things for people and will also see the Audemars Piguet price increase implemented on the 01/01/2014. The Cheshire Watch Company has managed to get hold of the new updated Audemars Piguet price list for 2014 and can confirm that the increases will range between 6%-12% on all current and new models for 2014. The new Audemars Piguet Price List can be found under the Audemars Piguet tab across the top header.

Officine Panerai PAM508 Special Edition

Three years ago, the cult world of Panerai went into meltdown over a watch encased in bronze with a very limited, one year only run of 1,000pcs with the fitting nickname of the “Bronzo”. The watch, model reference PAM382, was an instant hit and saw collectors scrambling to get their name down to ensure delivery of this distinctive timepiece.  As we all know, we live in a culture where ownership of a rare item results in a premium to gain possession of such an exclusive piece. This is something that was evident straight away with the Bronzo as the worldwide production of 1,000 was never going to quench the thirst of the Panerai faithful. It was the first time Panerai had made any of their collection in bronze, let alone the Submersible, therefore something new was bound to be immensely desirable. With the release of the 382, asking prices went almost 3 times the retail due to demand with collectors willing to pay.  Could this happen all over again?

Later on today at 20:14 local time, 16:14 GMT, the World will see the grand opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics being held in Sochi, Russia, for what will be Omega’s 26th year as official time keeper and partner for the global event. Athletes from around the world will compete in sub-zero temperatures, all with the aim of standing on the winner’s podium with a gold medal around their neck, tears in their eyes and their national anthem blaring out for all to hear.
